IECC Tokyo Education College adopts Direct Teaching Method which is well known as the most effective instruction for teaching foreign languages. Direct teaching method means a teaching way not by explaining the meanings of words, but by performing them without using student’s mother tongue. This method focuses on active learning, so it is expected, that it will lead students in exact pronunciation, active training of conversation through role-playing and learning of living language in practical situations.

IECC is the International Education Culture Center which was founded in the year 1986. IECC seeks to create an international cultural exchange through foreign languages. Now, as the world has been set in a living space of a day, there is no one who doesn't know the importance of language abilities. And IECC is, as a training institute of Japanese for foreigners in Japan, doing its best, and trying to act a part in the education of foreign languages and international cultural exchange aimed for the globalization of good quality.
